2021 Family Adventure

Check out our vacation to the desert! I bring my camera everywhere we go - now you can enjoy what we saw!

Here is a small play-by-play of what we did and where we went!

For starters, we flew into Las Vegas and stayed two nights enjoying the Bellagio and fountains. From there, we rented an RV from @RVshare where we could continue to travel, but not have to pack up four people's suitcases each time we stayed at a new place! This was the best decision and easiest way to cover more ground! We drove over the Hoover Dam, into the South Rim of the Grand Canyon where we stayed one night, and then headed to Page Arizona for Antelope Canyon. This was hard to buy tickets to since its a hot commodity - we actually had to extend our vacation an extra day so we could experience Antelope Canyon (this was number one on my desert bucket list). We had a few days of exploring in the Page area and with only half an hours time drove over to the bottom of Utah for what ended up being my most favorite hiking trail that we experienced - Toadstools. We also had our family photos taken in The New Wave since The Wave is lottery only - it was just as impressive, by the way! @amAZedphotography_shellywayne if you are ever in the area. Another great adventure was Horseshoe Bend. This was also the scariest for us because there are no ropes or fences like the Grand Canyon. We have two boys, two and four, so you do that math - It equals anxiety. People literally hang out on the edge of the 1,000ft cliffs and drink while the sun goes down, it was WILD. After Antelope Canyon we made the drive back to Vegas, but taking the North route to also see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our time zone changed every hour so that did get a little confusing because we went in and out of Arizona/Utah many times en route. It was one very large nine day circle with tons of bucket list items checked and so many lifetime memories to cherish.
